In this series, we will study the first verse of Saundarya Lahari, which is a Tantrika text that brings the reader into the presence of the divine feminine. As much as a study of Sanskrit, this will be an opportunity to learn how to spiritualize our lives.

About the event
Sanskrit is the language of Yoga and Ayurveda, and is so beautiful and profound that it is known as the language of the gods. Its study is rewarding for everyone curious about languages, but especially serious students and teachers of Yoga.
Rather than being an academic study of Sanskrit, this series approaches Sanskrit as practitioners - whereby we use traditional prayers and texts as our locus for study, so that we learn Sanskrit grammar while simultaneously deepening our own mantra sadhana.
In this series, we will study the first verse of Saundarya Lahari, which is a Tantrika text that brings the reader into the presence of the divine feminine. Classes will include chanting and the study of Sanskrit grammar.
