About the event
The daily prayer tradition in India is full of chants that can be recited at different times during the day to turn mundane activities into sacred opportunities to connect to various forces and divinities.
In this class, we will study a Sanskrit prayer that is chanted before meals to invoke Annapurna, the goddess of nourishment. Through chanting, word-by-word examination, and a deep understanding of the verse, we will make ourselves available to transformative teachings and learn how to divinize daily life by chanting this prayer each morning.
Class will be fun, accessible, and open to everyone - regardless of chanting or Sanskrit experience.
